This topic concerns the most significant pathologies noticed in the facilities being used as schools, which were built in Palermo in the last three decades. Many among these facilities already have undergone major restoration works, while the others are in poor conditions, which remarkably compromise the quality of their utilization. Sober elegance and safety are particularly important whenever a facility is to function as a school, especially if we consider the type of users and the ways of utilization. COMPOSITE SYNERGY OF SERVICES - A NEW CONCEPT CONCERNING SERVICES

The current paper addresses the dynamics of the service sector in Romania, from the perspective of a new concept, namely the "composite synergy of services". The main points of the paper approach the fact that direct and indirect investments in the service sector create a synergic and composite effect on the development of the economy, as a whole, in Romania. The paper aims to be a prequel to a mathematical and economic demonstration of the existence of the composite synergy of services, laying the theoretical foundations of the concept and underlining the premises for its existence.
Bibliotēku iekārtojuma atbilstība Bibliotēku likumā noteiktajām prasībām

Bakalaura darba „Bibliotēku iekārtojuma atbilstība Bibliotēku likumā noteiktajām prasībām” mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai publisko bibliotēku iekārtojums atbilst Latvijā noteiktiem normatīviem un Bibliotēku likumam. Lai realizētu bakalaura darbā izvirzīto mērķi, tika veikts jaukta tipa pētījums, kurā ir izmantotas kvalitatīvās un kvantitatīvās datu vākšanas metodes - dokumentu analīze, novērošana un daļēji strukturētā intervija. Iegūtie dati tiek analizēti no pragmatisma teorijas viedokļa. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti noved pie secinājumiem, ka bibliotēku iekārtojumā ir daļēji ievērotas normatīvajos dokumentos noteiktās prasības.
